Family and friends, you can’t live with them at times but then again you cannot and would not want to live without them around you. While the majority of us are lucky enough to have our close family and friends around us on a daily basis, there are also many individuals who for different reasons have become separated from family and friends, often by many miles and being close is extremely hard. Almost all homes now have a computer and a connection to the internet. Your home computer is an essential tool when it comes to connecting up with family and friends. Family and friends can be thousands of miles away and technology used today in video chatting online makes it feel you are right there with them. All you need is a headset with a microphone attached and download one of the popular instant messaging clients that are available free of charge. Add you family and friends e-mail addresses and you can keep your family and friends on your messenger client and contact them at anytime. When family and friends are online you can have a video conversation in real time, when not leave them a message via e-mail and arrange a time for meeting online.

You can also send family and friends photos and videos using your messaging software which allows you to catch up with what’s happening in each others life with ease. Of course as you are chatting online you are not running up a huge bill which means you have all night to kick off your shoes, pour a glass of wine and spend the evening with family and friends as if they were right there with you.
